What if everyone in your organization did what you did this week?
If you want to know if you are building your business correctly, all you have to do is ask yourself one very important question. If everyone in your organization did what you did this week, would your business be growing or shrinking? I am firm believer that you are either moving forward or backwards. There really is no neutral (not in business or life). Pull out a piece of paper and write down each of the categories below and how much you personally did in each category. See how you did for the week. Stop trying to manage your group, and start holding yourself accountable. The results can be very surprising.
Did you:
Make any calls to prospects?
Sell any products?
Hold any group product overviews for your team?
Sell any tickets (Local Seminar, Major Events, Training)?
Show the business plan to any personal prospects?
Do any group home business presentations for your team?
Add any new customers through your web portal?
Do a call workshop with your group or coaching calls with your team?
Add new prospects to your possibility list?
If the answer to all or most of these questions is no – you need to stop trying to manage your group and you need to start leading them by doing result producing activities. Do this for a month and get some of your team members to do it with you. What gets measured gets accomplished! Start measuring and start growing!
